The New York Times certainly isn’t the only national newspaper that slants its reporting, and it may not even be the most biased paper.  But The Times is America’s most influential newspaper.  As such, it frequently sets the agenda for the rest of the mainstream media.  Its reports frequently go unchallenged, except by press watchdogs like AIM and websites like this.  And that’s why we’re taking a stand against The Times – because any errors or distortions or half-truths it publishes are often repeated by the rest of the establishment media.  By confronting The Times, we’re confronting bias at its source.
